AWS Hands-on Labs

Requirements

In this series of courses (each section is a standalone course), we demonstrate how to build a specific AWS service or combination of services using best practice tools, such as using Terraform to provision the infrastructure as code, GitLab as the repository to commit the code to; and finally, GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate the end-to-end process of provisioning the resources/services into an AWS account.

The objective is to make the lives of DevOps engineers by consistently adding tips and tools they could replicate to solve day-to-day challenges they encounter while creating and managing AWS infrastructure.

There are hundreds of AWS services and resources. There are thousands of scenarios DevOps engineers could create to meet business requirements and provide value to customers. We do not intend to cover every scenario but we intend to continually update these courses with new tutorials and scenarios. This means there is no telling how long this courses would eventually be or when we’d stop adding new tutorials. The idea is to provide a new tutorial at least once a month.

We encourage you to provide as much feedback as possible to enable us improve a solution or try to provide configuration for a scenario you have in mind.

We hope this would be a useful resource for you.

Best Regards, CloudTAC!
